Monsieur Eiffel, anlässlich der Weltausstellung ( ca. 1890??) der Turm sollte eigentlich nach der Weltausstellung wieder abgerissen werden !!!

Der Erbauer heisst Gustave Eiffel (er hat auch die Freiheitsstatue in New York entworfen) und der Eiffelturm wurde am 24. Mai 1884 anlässlich der Weltausstellung in Paris eröffnet
